Point Wilson Lighthouse Reflection
You’re not seeing a pond or lake in front of the lighthouse. That’s a puddle of over-spray from waves topping the breakwater at Point Wilson Lighthouse. I spent some time trying to catch a dramatic shot of the spray and didn’t get anything I liked. Then I turned around and saw this. The shot was taken about 15 minutes after sunset.

What a perfect photo. The subdued lighting, the colors, the towering clouds in the background … the reflection … simply beautiful.
