Beaver Valley

The corner of Hwy 19 and Egg and I Road is a picturesque place. In the evening light, shadows creep across the fields and the evergreens stand dark in the distance. I’ve been trying to figure out how to take an interesting shot of this area for over a year. I finally realized that a panorama would work.

It is indeed a lovely area and the panorama works very well.

As much attention as the water world gets in PT, I’ve come to love our farms, fields and pastures every bit as much. I’ve found that Hwy 19 can be difficult to find a safe place or opportunity to pull over, so I REALLY appreciate your doing it FOR me and coming up with these beautiful scenes! You’re right…panorama does it justice.

You’re right, Sue. It is difficult to find a place to pull off to take Beaver Valley pics. I had about a quarter mile walk to get this location. One leg of my tripod was fully extended into the runoff ditch. The other two were almost totally collapsed and I was on my hands and knees looking through the viewfinder.
