We, in Port Townsend are either blessed or burdened with an absence of big box stores, and have to travel about an hour to get to the nearest one. This photo is of Costo in Silverdale, WA about 50 miles south of us. Thank goodness I wasn’t in the middle of Black Friday.

«Louis» (who has spent most of his working career in retail) won’t go near a store on Black Friday! These is a Costco about a mile from Chez la Vache. The traffic on the main intersection leading to the store is already choked up this morning.

I fully understand, Louis. We actually went away to Canada of Black Friday. The practice is creeping north of the border, but it still isn’t crazy yet.
