Schooner Suva
I know my posts are a bit boat heavy now. They will continue to be for the next couple of weeks. I’ve recently submitted photos to the Northwest Maritime Center’s On the Water photo exhibit. This coming weekend, the Wooden Boat Foundation will host the 34th annual Wooden Boat Show. And next weekend I’ll attend a photo workshop on the schooner Zodiac, taught by Michael Berman.
To keep in the mood I photographed the schooner Suva airing her sails at Point Hudson. She’s a charter and cruise boat that operates locally.

Boat Heavy for weeks? Couldn’t be happier about that, Michael! Still love your coffee series tho…
Saw the Lady Washington hauled out at the yard and wow! A Tall Ship out of water is a sight to behold!

Aah! Thank you for explaining that she was airing her sails – that makes sense!
I love boats – hard to overdo it.

There is something very romantic about a boat with white sails. That’s the view from an old landlubber.
