On the water
I’ve been watching this craft being constructed for several months now. It’s a floating boat. The concrete at the bottom of the craft is hollow and supposedly will keep the house floating. It doesn’t seem like this would work, but there’s a lot of money getting paid for the construction. I think that this is only technically a boat.

If it floats I guess it’s a boat.
I saw a special on TV several years ago about houseboats in Holland or Denmark. They had concrete hulls with all the utilities built in and flexible connections. The hulls were flooded for stability while the homes were towed to the moorings. The hulls were pumped dry and cabled to the docks. What an awesome building method and innovative group of folks.

I saw the special about these floating houses on Discovery channel last year. But I forgot that why were they building them…maybe to save costs of land :D
