Water drop on branch

I woke in the morning to the sound of rain pounding on the roof, which is one of my favorite sounds. It was certainly one of the harder rainfalls we’ve had in quite a while. When I thought it had quit I went out with the camera. The operative word here is thought. I protected the camera long enough to get this shot.
