This is one of those just for the heck of it photos. I took a lot of shots of this old car and decided to do a mirrored self-portrait.
Notice the blue sky? The weather’s been nice for the last couple of days. Loving summer.

That is a beautiful car and someone has spent HOURS polishing it so the reflections are just wonderful. Great shot!

That’s one of the most unique reflections I have seen, Michael!
Thanks for your visit. Yes that’s a sandsculpture in the topphoto.
I wish you a great weekend!

Very excellent “just for the heck of it” photo! And, you are using a tripod…I need to do that more. Great self-portrait and I hope you keep that blue sky around for awhile!

Great photo. Last weekend I was at an old car show and took a lot of photos.Didn’t even think about doing a reflection.

Great shapes and colors! You’re using a tripod – I have no patience for mine, but I really should become more tolerant.

Car shows are a great place for reflections! And sometime unintentional self portraits! This is a good one. And congratulations on your first publication!

Very creative interpretation. You must be a dedicated photographer to carry a tripod – I never can be bothered!

Thanks all for the nice comments. Yes, I use a tripod often. It took a while to get used to it, but the extra sharpness that it offers makes the effort worthwhile. And, as with anything you do often, it becomes habit and no longer the bother it first seemed. A side benefit is that, because it takes some extra time, I tend to make more considered compositions.

Nice whimsy. I like the way the chrome doubles up on the reflections.
