Though the weather has returned to the winter norm of wet and windy, here’s one more shot from our short period of grace. Someone placed roses on the statue, Leafwing, created by the late blacksmith-artist, Russell Jacqua (pronounced jake-way).
Perhaps drooping roses aren’t the best subject to post on Valentine’s Day. This is not a statement of any kind. I just like the image.

My original thought was that it was the anniversary of his death but that was in summer.
