What a difference a day makes
It’s kind of like one of those parties. Everything is beautiful and fun, then the next morning its OMG. In this case I caught a rainbow over our greenhouse Friday evening. A little before 2 am Saturday morning, the fire department was knocking on the door. “Did you know you have a fire in your greenhouse?
They had already extinguished the blaze by the time I got out to see. Thank goodness. I’d rather that the fire was out than to catch a photo op.
Just in time for Spring planting.

Oh, no! Glad the fire was contained to the greenhouse and that nobody got hurt. But still, how terrible.

Thanks, Janeen. I’m just feeling the effects now. It was a shock, but nobody got hurt and, except for a couple special plants, everything can be replaced. Will talk to the insurance adjustor in the next day or so and will see how much is covered.
