In the Garden
These shallots were grown in a large pot. After our greenhouse fire this spring, we lost our drive to get a vegetable garden in this year. I love the old bird shaped basket and the glass ristra we picked up in New Mexico.

What a shame about your greenhouse. Maybe next year you’ll feel ready again. Lovely shallots! I like your fabulous basket and the ristra is so pretty. Hmm, must do some more pickling soon . . . ;-)

I will have to hide this from Susan. My wife loves all things rooster; our kitchen is full of chickens.

Oh my goodness. I just looked at the before and after shots. Did you ever discover what caused the fire? I hope you will build another greenhouse!
