Overlooking Fort Worden
I don’t typically use special effect filters on photos, but this scene seems to work well with a painterly simplicity. After another week of overcast, Monday dawned clear and beautiful, and I enjoyed the hike up to the battery hill and this overlook of the parade ground and Admiralty Inlet.

Cool rendering. I keep looking for Richard Gerer. I’m not having any luck. I guess the post is all on leave !

I LOVE this! It has an other-worldly feel with whatever you did to it. Beautiful!

Sue, there’s an overlook just south of Memory Vault. The fastest way there is to take the trail up the bluff from Battery Stoddard to Memory Vault. Go through that and keep taking the left hand trail until you end up in the field.
