The 34th annual Wooden Boat Festival is on this weekend in Port Townsend. A number of boaters sail or motor up for the show, as you can see in the background. The Festival takes over the east end of town, from the Northwest Maritime Center, pictured here through all of Point Hudson.

Wooden boats are good to see and shot, but not to be the owner, it’s too much works !!! Are the boats only in the marina ? Did they sail ?

The boats sailed out on Sunday afternoon. There were a few out in the bay and still more on trailers that were parked around town.
You’re absolutely right about the amount of work you have to put into wooden boats. I hear the voice of experience talking.
