Dressed up as a pirate for the Wooden Boat Festival
Port Townsend’s Wooden Boat Festival was a lot of fun this year. Some of the participants not only dressed up their boats but took personal presentation to a new level. I particularly enjoyed this woman’s pirate get-up.

I actually came from Macro Monday. Thanks for the lesson! We have paper wasps, yellow jackets, and a variety of other insects of the wasp and hornet sort. I had not made the connection between variety and aggressiveness at all; I just try not to aggravate them!
