Hanging the Moon

Moon over Port Townsend Bay
I saw this crane and the moon and had to take this shot. Unfortunately the place from which I had to take it to get the angles right was in the middle of Water Street. I did get one angry driver honking his horn at me.

This is great! I’m glad you had your camera with you and that you took the picture in spite of the awkwardness of standing in the middle of the road.
Tell me you set up a tripod in the center lane and dodged cars while you waited for the perfect alignment!

Not quite that crazy, Dan. There isn’t much traffic downtown Port Townsend after 9 pm. But, yeah, I was in the middle of the main street with my tripod.
