This old building sits at the corner of F and San Juan Streets. A fire gutted the structure and blackberries reach out to overwhelm the structure. Several people have wanted to build on the corner but economic conditions halted the plans. Click photo for larger view.

Old Tire as Flotsam

The Old Apple Tree

Throughout the area you can find evidence of old farms. In some cases you’ll see mature apple trees and maybe the stones of a foundation. Some buildings haven’t quite disintegrated that far. I guess you could call this the picturesque stage of decay.

Picnic Table

Behind Dragonfire Video on the corner of San Juan and 19th Streets sits this forgotten picnic table. Before the video store occupied that location, we had Provisions Deli.
