Steve Jobs Memorial Arch

That’s not the name of this arch. It’s so small that it might not even have one. I can’t find any mention on my maps. The head shape was immediately obvious. K pointed out the Apple logo shape in the “eye” of the head. Click photo for larger view.

Ultimate Workplace

I doubt these people could get internet connection in a sandstone cave, but on a perfect spring day the red rock makes an incredible place to hang out.

West of Port Townsend, across the road from Discover Bay Golf Course sits this unofficial lake. Every once in a while the lake evaporates and the land becomes cow pasture. That hasn’t happened in quite a while. Click photo for larger view.

The Winter Olympics

I have some sparkly snow photos, but the truth is that Port Townsend winters are generally mild, gray, windy and wet. Snow does fall in the Olympic Mountains, which you can see from town. Click photo for larger view.

Red on the Pond

Big Dave requested maple leaves in water. I’ve shot quite a few photos of watery leaves, but there’s little fresh water near maple trees around Port Townsend.
