Saturday felt like spring. The temperature was in the 50s, and there was no wind. Just the right time of day to enjoy a pizza from Port Townsend’s Waterfront Pizza, downtown.

Moistening the air

Port Townsend is experiencing the driest early December in history. While that makes going outside much more pleasant, it also makes humidifying the indoor air a good thing to do. It’s not just the drier than normal weather. The difference in inside and outside temperatures makes indoor air dry. That’s according to University of Washington meteorologist, Cliff Mass.

The cat was nice enough to act as a model for this photo.
