We have so many deer wandering through Port Townsend that they have become an infestation. I keep taking photos hoping for an interesting shot. This will do. Click photo for larger view.
Every once in a while the seaweed blows in on storm winds then gets carried back out into Port Townsend Bay on high tide. I never would have thought that the slimy green stuff could make an interesting photo. Click photo for larger view.
There are so many mallards that live year round in Kah Tai Nature Park that I’ve pretty much quit taking photos of them. However, this guy was kind enough to swim into the frame of the willow branch and provide me with a good focal point.
Friday morning broke clear, calm, and crisp. We had our first light frost in Port Townsend. I was down at Kah Tai Nature Park for daybreak and the reflections of autumn gold on the lagoon. Click photo for larger view.
Autumn isn’t all bright colored leaves. There are berries ripening and tree limbs turning bare. Port Townsend also has some stormy skies.
