Reflecting on December Skies
Mid-day light isn’t what you’d call overly bright. Still it’s nice to see the sun come out over Port Townsend Bay. Puddles tell the story of recent rain.

When I walk on Larry Scott Trail I often see artists set up near the Boat Haven. The boats and shore there make classic subjects. This is the first time I’ve ever seen anyone set up to paint the very industrial looking Port Townsend Paper Mill.
I realize that I get stuck in ruts, like the one of taking low tide pictures. This was shot near the bench just past the 1/2 mile marker on Larry Scott Trail. The trail is particularly lovely now with an exuberance of wildflowers blooming around it. A Newton Area Photo Weekend Reflections Entry.
