The counter in Elevated Ice Cream

As a new project, I decided to take photos of all the places in the Port Townsend area that serve coffee. About 10 years ago, I counted up 23 distinct establishments in town that served espresso. I haven’t checked lately so don’t know the exact number. I’ll find out through this project.

Elevated serves hand packed ice cream that’s made on premise. The store also sells custom chocolates and of course, espresso drinks. It also offers toddy coffee. Toddy coffee is made in a cold brewing process. A concentrated coffee syrup is created that is mixed with hot water at serving time. It is very smooth, lacking coffee’s typical bitterness and acid.
