The lower of two dams on the Elhwa River.
This is one of two dams on the Elhwa River, which runs north into the Strait of San Juan de Fuca about 15 miles west of Port Angeles. Both dams are slated to be torn down starting next year. They are being removed as part of an ecosystem restoration.
