Moonrise over Port Townsend Bay

It’s been mostly cloudy again, but for a bit the clouds let the moon shine through as it rose over Port Townsend Bay. The distant lights are the Naval Station on Indian Island.

Port Townsend Library

The Port Townsend Public Library started construction in 1913 with a Carnegie Library Foundation grant. It enjoys the highest per capita usage in Washington State. As you can see it also has its share of poppies.

Bread Seed Poppy

Market Produce

Artichokes, leafy and root veggies are what’s available now at the Saturday Port Townsend Farmers’ Market. Well, there are all sorts of products made with locally grown foods, but this is what’s fresh.

Looking at You

Jefferson County Courthouse
