Jefferson County Courthouse

The Jefferson County Courthouse is one of the iconic buildings in Port Townsend. It’s certainly one of the most photographed. I keep trying to come up with a different image than the standard tourist shot.

Midnight at the Boat Haven

The night was calm and warmish, so I thought to take some reflection photo of the boats at the Boat Haven Marina. Tulips

I often drive by a colorful stand of tulips, which is planted right off Sims Way on the hill between Safeway and QFC. I took a bunch of photos.

Manresa Castle

One of Port Townsend’s distinctive landmarks, the Manresa Castle is a hotel perched atop the self-referential Castle Hill, next to the hospital. The building was originally a monastery. There’s been some obvious updating. The dining room is quite elegant in an early-twentieth century, wood and crystal style. They also host some nice live jazz.
