Early Morning on Water Steet

Water Street is the main business district and tourist destination in Port Townsend. I often avoid it on weekends. However, at 7:00 am it’s possible to stand in the middle of Water Street and take photos. This shot is from in front of the Swan Hotel, looking west.

Morning Row

Pygmy Kayak

Pygmy makes kit boats, mostly kayaks. Kayaks are inherently attractive, but the wood used in the construction of these makes them beautiful. The shop is next to the Point Hudson Marina.

St. Paddy’s Day

A group of local musicians play Irish music outside of Wild Sage, a lovely tea store on Washington Street.
