Yet More Rain
I awoke again to a steady rain this morning. Mud puddles filled the raw, new-construction dirt around my house. But, the still blooming flowers and crabapples across the yard glistened with hanging drops.

A good day to stay inside and drink a nice hot cup of tea, or as they say in the British cozies, cuppa. This being Port Townsend, you can be sure the sugar is organic and about to go into Fair Trade tea.
After a soggy start for the day, we actually had a few lovely hours yesterday in the late afternoon and into the evening. There was a period with some blue sky, and, mercifully, the wind quit.
