Okay, so it’s another shot of the same basic subject. This is taken from the Haller Fountain steps at the start of Sunday’s public movie.
Every year the busiest side street in downtown Port Townsend gets taken over by the Port Townsend Film Festival. Here, workers are erecting an inflatable movie screen on Taylor Street in front of the Rose Theatre. The hay bales are seats for the outdoor movies shown each evening of the Festival.
This is a picture of my new house, obviously still under construction, but close to completion. The entire building is only a bit over 400 square feet. It’s small but the idea of simplifying is very appealing. I do have to say that the architect, Ross Chapin designs a lot of usability into small spaces. [...]
I was driving home and stared at this incredible sky for a couple of minutes before I just had to pull over and take a shot. This is looking west on Hastings Ave near the Port Townsend city limits.
We live on a peninsula. You can get here without taking this bridge on State Highway 104, but from anywhere north of SeaTac airport it’s a long drive around. This view is looking east towards the Kitsap Peninsula.
