The fog rolled in thick last night. So early this morning I ran out the dock to catch a few shots.

Great produce at the Wednesday Port Townsend Farmer's Market

The Wednesday Farmer’s Market isn’t as big as the one on Saturday. If you’re just looking for some good vegies, it’s a lot easier to navigate. There are many fewer buyers, though still lots of good produce.

Part of the East Jefferson Fire Rescue, the Port Townsend fire station sits uptown on the corner of Harrison and Lawrence.. This is another Port Townsend landmark that has the unfortunate distinction of looking better in the dark.

Rocky Creek

Rocky Creek

Tiny Waterfall on Rocky Creek - Brinnon, WA

Rocky Creek Falls in Brinnon, WA has been on my list of places to visit for a while. It’s a short and easy walk from the road, though it has no signs to mark its location. The bright mid-day sun made my shots of the falls themselves pretty ugly. The creek below the falls was shaded, though.

The trip made a nice outing for a warm summer afternoon.

James House B&B - Late Twilight

The James House Bed and Breakfast is one of the more photographed Victorian buildings in Port Townsend. I don’t like to recreate postcard photos, but found this after sunset shot too attractive to pass up.

Jamin’

Jam from the Port Townsend Saturday Farmer's Market

Locally made jam at the Farmer’s Market. There’s always a lot of good stuff to eat for sale. Great for the taste buds. Brutal on the waistline.

Blooming Sedum

Blooming-Sedum

These plants grow as low  mounds, then all of a sudden  send up a spectacular stalk of  flowers. Then the plant dies.  Sad.
