Locally made jam at the Farmer’s Market. There’s always a lot of good stuff to eat for sale. Great for the taste buds. Brutal on the waistline.

These plants grow as low  mounds, then all of a sudden  send up a spectacular stalk of  flowers. Then the plant dies.  Sad.
